20 October 2008 | Delft. Netherlands.
This is the one of the brightest cities in Netherlands, as my friend think. We were sleeping up to 2 p.m., therefore came to the city too late, but anyway. We went there without bikes, because it's a small city. All the things usual for almost any of dutch cities are: town hall, main city square, Old and New churches. I've got the spirit of Delft as very comfy city. Empty streets of sunday evening were increasing the impressions. The other thing i liked much is an absence of any private cars in the historical center of Delft. That's really nice! The New church was closed for tourists on sunday, but anyway we entered there carefully for short, and even heared the sermon in dutch. Also we visited the museum placed in the interior of old nunnery. We drunk two cappuccino in the comfy restaurant with very nice courtyard and went back to Leiden, where i made few more pictures of night canals.
